Clergy Guild

Ordained ministry is demanding, often solitary work — and shepherds need shepherding too. The Catholic Clergy Guild gathers priests and deacons, Latin and Eastern rite together, for an hour each month of prayer, formation, and honest brotherhood.

,The Guild offers pastoral support, peer accompaniment, and continuing formation — with programming in trauma-informed pastoral formation, wellness resources, and peer support for sustainable parish leadership and evangelization.

What a Gathering Looks Like

Each monthly gathering runs about an hour, in a consistent rhythm:

  1. Gathering & Welcome — Fellowship as men arrive, with light hospitality.

  2. Confidentiality & Communion of the Guild — A short opening statement on how we hold one another in conversation.

  3. Opening Prayer & Patron of the Day — Invoking the saints who hold that day in both East and West.

  4. Spiritual Illumination — A word from the our Saints and spiritual writers to orient our hearts before we collaborate.

  5. Check-In — Each man shares his name, vocation, and what he carries into the evening.

  6. Presentation & Discussion — A short teaching, followed by open pastoral conversation.

  7. Petitions & Mutual Support — Confidential petitions, named burdens, and closing intercession.

Confidentiality & Communion of the Guild

What is shared in the Guild is confidential. We listen to understand, approach one another with charity, and offer correction with humility. Every member has a voice, and we hold one another's time and trust accordingly.

Your Path to Membership

Before joining, we ask two things: verification of your clergy status (directly with the Guild, or vouched for by an existing member), and a season of discernment — attending three monthly gatherings as a visitor before formally enrolling. There's no pressure or obligation simply in visiting.
